Pawlenty has not been helping himself by making a bunch of truly clueless statements lately on what spending takes place in the Federal budget. He has tacked hard to the right recently by kissing up to Palin and Bachmann but I get the feeling that the media will dismiss him a not ready for primetime. I think he has a better shot being the VP candidate.
